The sun was directly above Sri Lanka on Tuesday last week. Despite the heatwave that is beating down on the entire country devotees traveled miles on foot and on pushbikes to reach this remote village in the Vanni last Sunday, to seek God’s face and hear His word preached. Their is renewed interest among people of all walks of life to draw closer to God and live a life that’s pleasing to Him.
The tragedies of war have all too well made them deeply conscious of the impermanence of life; how transient and fragile human life is. They have found hope beyond the grave through the Lord Jesus Christ who conquered death, hell and the grave!!! (April 2016).
