A three day Gospel rally was held in the city of Batticaloa in which Pop-artists who at one time were household names in the local music scene, sang heartily for the Lord, shared their testimonies, and presented the Gospel with zest. The general public and the local Armed-forces appreciated ‘Peace’ being presented to a people scarred and bruised by decades of conflict and civil strife. Taking hold of that ‘Elusive Peace’ after winning the war, is everybody’s priority in post-war Sri Lanka. The prince of peace Jesus Christ was packaged and presented in word and song to a gathering longinly searching for real and tangible PEACE!
Hadassah Sanders (my daughter), Mariezelle Gunatilake (kandy-la missy fame), Lankika Perera (Ex-Super Goldenchimes), Rukshan Perera (Ex- Moonstones fame) & Jaffi Isacc (Indian singing sensation) now singing for their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at our Gospel rallies!
